Now that everyone is back into the school routine, it’s very easy to get in a rut of doing the same ‘ol, same ‘ol everyday. Then all of the sudden the kids are whining they are bored, or their behavior steadily gets worse. Now is the time to stay one step ahead of the kids (whether you homeschool or teach a room full of 25 kindergarteners.)
One way to stay ahead of the game is to have a bag of tricks up your sleeves. Do you have a class iPad or two? Download a few new educational apps, but don’t tell the kids about them all at once. Introduce one or two of the new apps at a time.
We, of course, recommend the Fundanoodle app. This is a great way to practice and review letters are they are introduced. Couple the iPad app with the I Can Build magna strips and/or Muscle Movers and the kids will use their whole body and senses to learn letters.
What apps do you use in your classroom? Have you found a new app to use in your classroom this year? Please share with us.
