While this looks like a fun craft for the young eye, it is a disguise for strengthening those fingers. One of the key ingredients to legible handwriting without the headache is strong palms and fingers. These straightforward steps can help your student master hand strengthening. Simply start with tissue paper, glue, crayons, scissors and construction paper. Have your child draw a heart on the construction paper, then cut out. Next up go to town ripping up the tissue paper and rolling the small pieces into balls. Lastly, have your sweetie spread glue across the heart and place the rolled up tissue paper on his/her creation! Voila, a valentine is made and ready to be popped in the mail for their favorite valentine!
