Muscle Movers on the Move!

by: Cherie DuPuy

I keep mine in the car where they are available during car rides and big sister’s piano lessons. My daughter will flip to a card and say the following rhyme   “Slither like a snake. SSS- SSS- snake. ”  Next, she traces the S on the front with her finger then flips over the card and writes the letter with the dry erase pen.  By doing this activity, I am reinforcing letter sounds and recognition and also having her practice her handwriting.Mom and more tracing cards

How do you use your Muscle Mover cards?  Inquiring minds want to know! 🙂

How about a friendly contest?  We are excited to offer a giveaway to only people who follow our blog!!!  You aren’t following our blog?  Quick, sign up!  Four friendly fans will win one set of Muscle Mover cards!!!  Follow the blog and comment for your chance to win!  Winners will be announced on Friday!!

We love playing with these as a family game. It is a great game to work on gross and fine motor skills as well as the social skills of taking turns. I would recommend this product to any parent, therapist or teacher who wants an interactive, fun game to work with their student.

Wow!!!!! Perfect for my 3 year old who is being introduced to writing her letters now! And then it would be a fun practice station when I return to the classroom!
