It’s National Swimming Day!!!

Swimming is one of the most common summer outings!  Did you know there are more benefits to swimming than just taking up an afternoon of boredom with your kids?

Did you know…..

Swimming works on the deep muscles?

Swimming is a tactile experience (the water itself, touching floats, pool toys, water balls….and much more)?

Swimming is a great social experience?

Swimming is a motor planning activity (coordinating jumping in, diving to bottom, learning to breath while swimming)?
