Handwriting Development Experts
Amy Bumgarner and Michelle Yoder are colleagues in an occupational therapy practice for children in Charlotte, North Carolina, and are the co-creators of the handwriting development module of Fundanoodle, produced by Carolina Pad.

Amy is a graduate of North Carolina State University and East Carolina University, Amy’s occupational therapy specialty areas include:
- sensory processing disorders
- autism and
- therapeutic listening
Amy’s career/life goals include continuing specialization in sensory integration and autism and continued development and support for Fundanoodle.
- Michelle Yoder, OTR/L, CIMI
Michelle is an Ohio State University graduate whose specialty areas include certification to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT). In addition to being a certified infant massage instructor, she is also trained in:
- therapeutic listening
- the interactive metronome method
- TAMO and
- the SOS feeding approach
Michelle’s career/life goals include performing research with children with sensory processing disorders and serving underprivileged children and the communities in which they live.
